A PR's +N −N mixes logic with tests, fixtures, and lockfile churn, so you can't tell how big the real change is. Now hovering the stat in the PR header splits it into Code, Tests, Mocks, and Generated.

Before this change, hovering the stat showed nothing.

How

• Classifier (packages/shared/src/changedFileKind.ts): sorts each file by its path, using common conventions. Lockfiles, *.generated.*, *.gen.*, and protobuf or minified output count as generated. __mocks__/, fixtures/, testdata/, snapshots, and *.mock.* count as mocks. *.test.*, *.spec.*, _test.go, test_*.py, FooTest.java, and test folders count as tests. Everything else is code.
• Server: new pullRequests.changeBreakdown read. GitHub returns per-file line counts through a paginated files GraphQL query (up to 500 files). The server sums them and sends only the 4 bucket totals. It returns null when the host has no per-file counts or the list is cut short, so the split always adds up to the total. It has its own cache, so GitHub's check polling stays as cheap as before.
• Web: the tooltip fetches on first hover or focus, so a PR nobody hovers costs no host requests. It refreshes with the PR.
• Mobile: the "Changed files" header gets one line with the same split. The existing "Hide test files" filter now uses the shared classifier, so it also hides mock and fixture files.

Other hosts (GitLab, Bitbucket, Forgejo, Azure DevOps, GitCafe) show no breakdown for now. Forgejo and Bitbucket already return per-file counts, so they are easy follow-ups.

Verification

• Ran the dev build headless on real merged PRs. fix(server): deliver subagent results without history handoffs #22117 shows Code +39 −67, Tests +180 −1, Mocks +9 −4. chore(mobile): upgrade Uniwind to 1.13.0 #22173 shows Code +2 −2, Tests +16 −15, Mocks +20 −11, Generated +7 −7. Both match gh pr view --json files.
• Classifier, breakdown, mobile filter, RPC auth, client query, GitHub JSON, and PR service tests pass. Typecheck and lint are clean on every touched package.
