Summary

Adds a bounded cross-domain research synthesis on agency under stress and connects it to existing Root Sequence recovery, resilience, and design work.

• indexes it from research/README.md;
• adds a Design Grammar prompt for preserving usable agency under reduced capacity;
• extends graceful degradation to human-facing systems: shed complexity before shedding meaningful agency.

• not a clinical model, diagnosis, treatment guide, or interrogation manual;
• does not posit a universal "breaking point";
• keeps compliance, consent, belief, cooperation, information quality, and legitimate authority distinct;
