Extends the existing commons overview with proposed bounded openness, protected disagreement, inspectable powers, voluntary repair, sustainable maintenance, departure/forks, and signal/reflection/adaptation/feedback. Links it from the root README. This is the shared substantive home; it creates no institution, governance body, research protocol, or new framework.

Changed files: ECOSYSTEM.md, IDEA_TRAILS.md, README.md, commons/README.md.

Validation: whitespace checks passed; new/changed documentation links checked against the proposed repository trees; source/privacy review found no newly introduced public links to private repositories. Code/runtime tests are not applicable to these Markdown-only changes. Reader-document validator reports 15 errors, reproduced identically on the unchanged base: one broken relative link and 14 notes without inbound navigation in the living-paper subtree. No new validator errors. These existing issues remain unresolved and are outside the commons changes.

Existing open work reviewed: #42 (Synthesize agency under stress across resilience and design), #41 (Add representational legibility to Legible Systems), #40 (Integrate anticipation and surprise into adaptive continuity). The only shared file is IDEA_TRAILS.md with #40: this PR revises Trail 2 stewardship wording near line 82; #40 revises the separate adaptive-continuity trail near line 397. No shared hunks; all other changed files are separate.

Companion changes will link here. The new canonical main anchor is available only after this source PR merges.
