There is no way to line lyrics up with the track by hand #717
When synced lyrics are off from the recording, there is nothing a user can do about it. The karaoke runs early or late for the whole song, a line click jumps to the wrong place, and the only options are to live with it or remove the lyrics.
It happens more than it should. LRCLIB often holds a copy timed to another cut of the song: a video with an intro, a single edit, a remaster with the silence trimmed. Automatic alignment catches the clear cases, but not every one.
What would help
A way to say where the lyrics start: put the first line, or a chosen line, at the current playhead.
Small nudges earlier and later, with the current offset shown.
An automatic detect on request, which says so plainly when it cannot tell.
A way back to the lyrics' own timing.
Constraints
The adjustment must survive closing and reopening the track, and a re-split.
The original timing must always be recoverable.
It has to work for lyrics the server keeps and for lyrics the Lyrics tab found on its own.
Keyboard accessible, in all ten languages.
Requested while testing the 0.18.2.dev0 build. Being worked on in the feat/song-identification branch.
