Adds build.sh, a self-contained script that cross-compiles WiiCompiled (and optionally Retro Rewind) from a Linux host via llvm-mingw, plus the CMake/header fixes a case-sensitive non-Windows toolchain needed.
Adds --package to build.sh: bundles the exe, DLLs, game data, and (with --retro) the Retro Rewind mod into a single movable zip under dist/. Also auto-extracts and hash-verifies main.dol/StaticR.rel from a local disc image, and generates a portable Config.toml.
Comment/message polish in build.sh.

Extract and validate DATA for --package.
If Assets/main.dol and Assets/StaticR.rel already pass have_assets, Line 55 skips extraction. A later --package then fails at Lines 325-328 when extracted/DATA is absent, even if GAME_IMAGE is available. A stale extracted/DATA tree also gets packaged without validating its DOL and REL files.
Make extraction for --package depend on verified extracted/DATA/sys/main.dol and extracted/DATA/files/rel/StaticR.rel, not only on Assets/.

Regenerate shards when Retro Rewind is disabled.
After a Retro Rewind build, shards.cmake contains MKW_HAVE_RETRO_REWIND_SHARDS ON. A later plain ./build.sh leaves NEED_SHARDS=0, so it reuses the Retro Rewind build graph instead of restoring the normal build graph.
Add the inverse invalidation check for RETRO != 1.

Document the zip dependency for --package.
The Arch command does not install zip, but build.sh invokes zip when --package is set. Add zip to the package list and name it as required for packaging.

This doesn't even touch the fiber_manager which is explicity windows only and guest memory which is also explicity windows only. I'm working on those (with Claude) now. Will report back later if successful. |

Probably superseded by my PR which is for NATIVE linux support #37 |
Yeah Native was the next thing I started working on, |
Thats probably only the case in your implementation (https://github.com/zydezu/Wiicompiled/tree/appimage) likely because you have a suboptimal linux native fiber handler or memory management. No need to continue with your implementation given that mine works without compromise and is much more cross platform and less fragile (libco is a mature project for multithreading, already used in a number of emulators, and could be used as a fiber handler on windows as well). |
The PR focuses on building on Linux, adding
build.sh, it:--retrobuilds Wiicompiled with Retro Rewind, downloading it fromupdate.rwfc.netif files aren't present locally,--packagebundles everything into a folder, for easy portable usage (generates a portable UserData/Config.toml pre-filled with dvd_root/retro_rewind_root)OSMemory.cppandsettings_overlay.cppUpdated README with the required packages for the build process too.
