Summary

  • README badge, footer and Status section now say PostgreSQL 16 or later, not 17+.
  • docs/QUICKSTART.md prerequisite row now reads "16 or later"; the local walkthrough still uses PostgreSQL 18 on port 5433.

Why

Not changed

  • Code and CI. Moving to 17 would need the CI image, dev infra and offline bundle changed too.
  • The local walkthrough lines that use PostgreSQL 18.

Generated by Claude Code

The README badge, footer and Status section claimed PostgreSQL 17+,
but CI, the dev infra and the offline bundle (#60) all test PostgreSQL 16.
Claim 16+ until 17 is tested. QUICKSTART prerequisite aligned to match;
the local walkthrough still uses PostgreSQL 18 on port 5433.
