Friend DM stays on "Weighing the options…" when remote Bot turn fails #1068

Reproduce

Two FlyBot homes on tip → https://social.botawaken.com (SelfA1025 / SelfB1025), product UI deep-test 2026-10-25 continue:

1. B already friends with A's Chief. B opens DM Chief (SelfA1025) and sends a message.
2. A's Chief has no model / API key → turn fails with MISSING_CREDENTIAL.
3. Observe B's DM status.

Expected

Sender (B) sees a clear failure (e.g. remote Bot could not reply / missing credential), not an indefinite thinking state.

Actual

• Message reaches A's Chief ("SelfB1025 is talking to Chief through Bot Social").
• A turn fails MISSING_CREDENTIAL; no approval card (no model).
• B's DM stays on "Weighing the options…" with no failure surfaced.

Suggested scope

Surface remote-home turn failures (at least credential / hard fail) back to the sender DM instead of infinite "Weighing the options…".
