My previous fix's own explanatory note about avoiding ASCII -- in XML comments contained literal -- itself. Reworded to avoid the sequence entirely and verified with a script that strips legitimate <!-- / --> delimiters before scanning for any remaining occurrences. My previous fix (PR #6) for the WIX0104 XML-comment error introduced a second instance of the same problem in its own explanatory text. Reworded to avoid the sequence entirely.
