XML comments can't contain a literal '--', which the top-of-file doc comment had in "dotnet tool install --global wix --version 5.0.2". WiX's parser correctly rejected this before compiling anything else (error WIX0104). Replaced with U+2011 non-breaking hyphens in the comment text, with a note not to copy-paste them literally. The second build attempt (after pinning WiX to v5) failed with WIX0104: XML comments can't contain a literal '--', which the doc comment at the top of installer.wxs had. Replaced with non-breaking hyphens (U+2011) in the comment text only.
