What this adds

The Stoned Age is a sourced, playful inquiry into altered states, curiosity, religion, cognitive evolution, collective meaning-making, epistemic authority and AI. The suite lives in research/the-stoned-age/, with one entry in the nearest research index. Root Sequence provides coordination and synthesis, not a claim of specialist authority.

The draft includes a living paper, illustrated 16-page booklet, accessible static web essay, and 12-slide / 25-minute talk. Markdown/JSON sources, original SVG conceptual illustrations, PDFs, a shared source register and a 19-claim ledger are included. No sacred imagery or historical reconstructions are used.

Evidence revision v0.1.1

All 16 sources now have claim-focused appraisal records with inspection scope and unresolved checks. The creativity account now distinguishes later self-rated novelty from independently verified originality and records persistent lower convergent-thinking performance. The significance account includes acute fear and selected-sample context. Archaeological inference limits and the festival study's exploratory, nonpreregistered structural-equation analysis are explicit. AI evidence is bounded to the 2023 evaluation. Crossref returned 13 of 14 DOI records; one request was rate-limited. This is not comprehensive correction/retraction clearance.

Full scholarly appraisal remains incomplete: Arad full-text access, several supplements and registration comparisons, review-level primary evidence, cultural scholarship and independent disciplinary review remain outstanding. See research/the-stoned-age/research/appraisal.md for exact limits.

Validation

• HTML/SVG/PDF build passed; 16 booklet pages and 12 slides; extractable PDF text and visual layout checks.
• 158 local HTML links/assets/fragments resolve; 16 unique source IDs and 19 unique claims.
• Repository site tests: 11 passed. Idea Trail graph and generated index check passed.
• Reader documentation checker: same 15 pre-existing errors as the untouched base; none introduced.
• Whitespace check passed. Full keyboard, screen-reader and mobile-device checks remain pending.
