Summary

  • Complete P02b-1 under Accepted ADR-0057: enqueue integration events immediately on the announced ambient transaction, so source state, outbox facts and MUST audit commit together.
  • Collect domain facts only after successful saves, complete them once in the transaction owner, and prevent absorbed failures from committing successfully produced work. Completed tenant provisioning emits TenantCreatedIntegrationEventV1 in both API and Seeder compositions.
  • Enforce producer, partition and identifier-only payload contracts with production censuses, independent dirty/clean controls and mutation checks; reconcile the roadmap, architecture, standards, module specs and skills.

Approach

The request pipeline and direct owners share producer/audit lifecycle coordinators. Step 7 checks enrollment rather than buffering writes. Transaction-generation snapshots prevent stale or cross-tenant enqueue; domain reactions translate through IOutbox only. Four implementation steps each completed two fresh independent review rounds, with verified findings fixed in separate commits.

Tests

  • Release build: zero warnings/errors; complete solution format verification passes.

  • Backend: 1,766 unit, 266 architecture, 4 contract and 1,153 integration cases — 3,189 passed, zero failed/skipped. TRX counters inspected per assembly. Integration includes real PostgreSQL as learnstack_app, existing seed/public-renderer regressions, rollback/MUST-audit atomicity, failed/canceled saves, owner/joiner/descendant receipts and terminal reuse.

  • Abstract/virtual helper regression mutation: interface-only traversal makes two domain-handler controls and one outbox control fail; restored source passes all 63 focused guard cases (included in architecture total).

  • ADR lifecycle checks, relative links/anchors, original Accepted ADR preservation and frozen P02b-0 history verified locally.

  • Frontend production source and OpenAPI contracts are unchanged. Test-only browser phase diagnostics distinguish the existing CI admission failure without exposing private errors or relaxing assertions/deadlines. All 1,550 guarded frontend tests pass locally, with zero skips/todos; lint, typecheck, 26 focused browser cases and the real admission integration proof also pass. Diagnostics and first-failure preservation each completed two fresh independent review rounds.

  • The first CI run had one pre-existing stock-browser proof failure (967/968 Docker cases), which has not recurred; its cause is not claimed fixed. Diagnostic CI passes all seven jobs and all 3,181 backend cases. Previous verified CI passes all seven required jobs for cb2bb6d, including all 3,181 backend and 1,542 guarded frontend tests with zero failures/skips/todos, plus the real demo/Lighthouse lifecycle. CodeRabbit also succeeds. PR review and merge remain pending.

  • Verified review findings also reconcile producer/delivery/inbox/ordering documentation and preserve the first diagnostic error while still cleaning up the browser.

  • External-review proof follow-up (d8fd919): real outbox INSERT receipts at depths 0/1/2, a positive declared-intent assertion, and same-execution zero joiner/one owner audit writes. Three controlled mutations fail the expected 3/1/1 cases; restored source passes 62 focused unit and 71 PostgreSQL cases. Full local unit (1,764) and architecture (265) suites pass; no production behavior or test count changes. Two fresh independent review rounds approve.

  • Pre-remediation head CI passes all seven required jobs for 75fc79b. Downloaded TRX artifacts confirm all 3,181 backend cases pass with zero failures/skips; the guarded frontend log confirms 1,542 passes with zero skips/todos. Demo artifacts match the source head and contain all 27 JSON/HTML report pairs across nine URLs, nine screenshots, accessibility scores of 100, CLS 0 and maximum normalized gzip JavaScript of 106,551 bytes. CodeRabbit succeeds. PR review and merge remain pending.

  • Systematic-review remediation (c7dae0c, 3f4c121, 9b2fcf6, delivery record b561c8f): classify live pre-COMMIT frame refusal as known rollback while preserving detached physical-COMMIT faults/cancellation as Indeterminate. Real PostgreSQL owner/absorbed-joiner cases prove positive business/outbox INSERTs, rollback, failed audit, cleanup and poisoned-scope refusal; unit cases preserve the original frame error if rollback also fails. Raw event-bearing saves require enrolled production in both compositions.

  • The shared-execution parallelism census now includes Application, Infrastructure and audit infrastructure, with exact singleton-flight exceptions and planted dirty/clean controls. Browser diagnostics distinguish launch, readiness and private-carrier failure; only privately branded errors retain their phase/identity. Two fresh independent review rounds approve the remediation after the verified outer-boundary Minor was fixed. Uncached-settings ownership, ADR clause errata/index and concrete proof references are reconciled without modifying accepted decisions or frozen entry history.

  • Previous systematic-remediation CI passes all seven required jobs for b561c8f; CodeRabbit succeeds. Downloaded TRX artifacts confirm 1,766 unit, 266 architecture, four contract, 180 non-Docker and 972 Docker integration cases: 3,188 backend passes, zero failures/skips. The guarded frontend CI log confirms 1,550 passes, zero skips/todos. Demo artifacts bind to this source head and contain all 27 matching JSON/HTML report pairs across nine URLs, nine screenshots, accessibility scores of 100, CLS 0 and maximum normalized gzip JavaScript of 106,553 bytes; owned cleanup passes. PR review and merge remain pending.

  • Outbox INSERT/ownership follow-up (96e6f4d, delivery record 8a97cd2): a failed ExecuteNonQueryAsync poisons the admitted unit before rethrow, while only successful INSERTs record receipts. The real duplicate-EventId proof covers propagated and absorbed errors; both cases fail on the old code, then pass with immediate application poisoning, retained parent/no child receipt, exception identity, rollback and cleanup. All 31 focused outbox cases and the full 3,189 backend cases pass locally, zero failures/skips. Two fresh independent review rounds approve without findings. Architecture/standards now describe delivered producer steps, separate UoW/domain cleanup from outermost audit capture ownership, and leave dispatch/inbox with P02b-2/P02b-3. No frontend, schema or accepted decision changes. Final-head CI passes all seven required jobs for 8a97cd2; CodeRabbit succeeds. Downloaded artifacts confirm 3,189 backend passes (1,766 unit, 266 architecture, four contract, 180 non-Docker and 973 Docker integration), zero failures/skips. The guarded frontend CI log confirms 1,550 passes, zero skips/todos. Demo reports bind to this source head and contain all 27 matching JSON/HTML pairs over nine URLs, nine screenshots, accessibility scores of 100, CLS 0 and maximum normalized gzip JavaScript of 106,552 bytes; owned cleanup passes. PR review and merge remain pending.

Risk

Producer admission is a tenant-isolation boundary: event tenant must match the live successful SQL announcement, including unresolved provisioning. Read-only, foreign, unenrolled and stale transactions refuse before INSERT. ADR-0057 deliberately narrows absorbed nested failures only after successful production; ordinary event-free refusals retain their behavior.

Rows remain pending until P02b-2 supplies dispatch. P02b-3 owns inbox/subscriptions, the two Customization defaults and Seeder identity handoff after G1. This PR does not claim automatic consumption.

Migration / Rollback

No schema migration or new credential/configuration is introduced. Existing outbox schema/grants are used. P02b-2 must account for existing producer rows when adding leases and bounded error descriptors.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added transactional event production with immediate outbox writes and domain events collected after successful saves. Completed tenant provisioning now records a pending integration event in the same transaction as the tenant, organization, and audit records.
    • Added safeguards for event payloads, tenant context, and transaction ownership. Event delivery and consumer processing remain upcoming work.
  • Improvements
    • Coordinated audit capture and transaction completion across request and direct-operation flows, preserving rollback behavior when produced work cannot complete.
    • Browser verification failures now include clearer phase details while keeping private error information hidden.
  • Documentation
    • Updated architecture guidance and project status to reflect completed work and remaining event delivery steps.

Record PR #27's merged head and independently verified merge-run evidence
so current status surfaces agree with the delivered public renderer.
Keep dated delivery history intact and name P02d-7's remaining decisions,
demo, Lighthouse and phase-exit obligations without starting that packet.
Record the approved lifecycle, genericity scope and serial browser/audit
measurement boundaries before implementation. Register the four proof
obligations without claiming passing runtime evidence or activating CI.

ADR: 0056
Give local and isolated CI runs one owned lifecycle with explicit stack
selection, migration readiness and seed-derived public content checks.
Preserve local data and refuse foreign listeners or uncertain cleanup.
The browser audit driver remains in its approved subsequent step.

ADR: 0056
Keep selected database configuration consistent before stack actions and make
owned teardown survive terminal hangup. Preserve split UTF-8 output within a
byte bound and keep public marketing outside private-content exclusions.

ADR: 0056
Close the second P02d-7 Step 1 review findings before the
ADR-0056 browser and audit work.
Close the focused ADR-0056 lifecycle fix review with a live
profile-boundary mutation and its accepted-hop control.
Project typed SeedData into exact backend/frontend identity controls,
ban production Seeder references and preserve the schema-revision
behavioral companion for the ADR-0056 exit foundations.
Keep the exact-literal guard effective across compiled C# branches, UTF-8
constants, emitted JSX values and runtime helpers behind test exclusions.
The first independent review found and reproduced each escape.
Keep lexical configurations independent and resolve static module URLs so
source exclusions cannot hide a demo-specific runtime helper.

ADR: 0056
Preserve the bounded import census when resolver options change the
location of a relative runtime helper.

ADR: 0056
Measure the actual seeded product navigation with bounded, repeatable
browser and audit evidence while preserving real admission and cleanup.
Keep passing local feasibility distinct from pending CI enforcement.

ADR: 0056
Close independently reproduced false-green paths in completion logging,
Lighthouse timeout admission and visible product identity. Exercise real
DOM mutations and the pinned soft-timeout behavior in the shared proof.

ADR: 0056
Keep damaged or deferred API refusals out of successful demo receipts,
and require the bounded seeded visibility controls to run against the
actual browser document.

ADR: 0056
Share the existing five-second cleanup reserve between process stopping
and output drain, and record the independent causal fix verification.

ADR: 0056
Record the complete round-two runtime proof and scoped source identity
so the CI exit step starts from verified evidence.

ADR: 0056
Run the shared seeded browser and audit lifecycle in real PR checks,
keep public artifacts bounded, and pair each exit obligation with its
named proof. Add third-locale and organization-branding pipeline/HTTP
cases and carry remaining lifecycle work to its explicit phase owner.
Live protection activation waits for the first successful real job.

ADR: 0056
Module: Tenancy, Education
Pair host, locale and organization HTTP outcomes with raw translation
reads on each request connection. Reserve cleanup inside the CI budget
and prepare sandbox-enabled managed Chromium on hosted Linux only.
Reconcile mutable exit and review guidance with delivered contracts.

ADR: 0036, 0040, 0052, 0056
Module: Education, Tenancy
Record independent runtime and corpus approval, focused proof results
and verified navigation fixes. Keep real Linux CI, full receipts and
seventh-check activation explicitly pending before phase exit.

ADR: 0056
Tie completion to the passing real PR reports and bounded required-check
activation so acceptance and local feasibility cannot stand in for exit
evidence. Preserve earlier delivery history and maintainer merge review.

ADR: 0056
Remove two stale pending suffixes after independently confirming both
named cases Passed in the downloaded real PR integration receipt.

ADR: 0056
Keep the identity census aligned with the producer's nullable curriculum
contract while preserving every tenant and present-curriculum assertion.
The required demo inventory remains enforced separately.

ADR: 0018, 0056
Keep installed tool metadata and receipt versions in one path while
retaining independent pinned drift checks. Distinguish reviewed-head
CI receipts from activation history and acceptance-time ADR wording.

ADR: 0056
Record both fresh independent approvals and local proof results while
keeping later-head seven-job CI acceptance with the PR check rollup.

ADR: 0056
Keep the documented seed launcher argument-free. Attempt owned Compose
teardown even when process cleanup or output observation fails, and retain
private state until every cleanup stage succeeds. Preserve private error
causes internally while keeping foreground diagnostics fixed.

ADR: 0056
Resolve supported local aliases and workspace exports transitively, refuse
unclassified roots/formats and missing imports, and distinguish actual
dependency/output roots from nested authored source. Cross-check backend
sources against evaluated Compile inputs and refuse unmodeled build shapes.

ADR: 0018, 0035
Include competing alias and JS/TS targets conservatively, and select
workspace exports only from owned manifests. Refuse implicit build hooks
and project references outside the evaluated production project set.

ADR: 0018, 0056
Refuse inherited alias maps even when a same-basename source file
would previously shadow the actual JSON configuration.

ADR: 0018, 0056
Exercise independent network overlap and per-route timing aggregation
in fast dirty/clean controls. Count completed navigations and restrict
uploads to named public artifacts. Record verified review dispositions
and align current P7 guidance without rewriting historical ADRs.

ADR: 0018, 0056
Record all three steps, verified fixes, both independent review rounds
and completed local validation. Require final seven-job PR CI without
attributing historical evidence to the new source head.

ADR: 0018, 0056
Make successful enqueue an immediate atomic write with trusted execution
metadata and explicit identifier-only routing. Refuse stale, foreign or
unowned frames before persistence and retain production receipts across
absorbed failures without changing event-free execution.

ADR: 0057
Distinguish the phase-entry inventory from current producer delivery and
record the first independent review round without rewriting entry evidence.

ADR: 0057
A persisted event with no subscriber cannot reveal accidental delivery.
Observe the resolved transport with a positive control and close both
independent outbox review rounds against the passing database proof.

ADR: 0057
Collect facts only after their source save succeeds and retain their
invocation origin until physical-owner completion. Translate completed
tenant provisioning into one pending outbox row on the same commit as
both business roots and MUST audit, with no subscriber delivery yet.

ADR: 0057, 0040, 0042, 0044
Record two fresh independent reviews and their focused passing repeats
before starting the producer enforcement step.

ADR: 0057
Keep producer guarantees measurable across complete assembly censuses and
transitive helper paths, with deliberate dirty and clean controls. Align the
catalogue and authoring guidance with delivered producer capabilities while
retaining dispatcher and consumer ownership in their named packets.

ADR: 0057
Module: Tenancy, Customization, Audit
Expand the producer and domain-handler walks to derived implementations
so normal class dispatch cannot bypass their capability checks. Plant
dirty and clean class paths and verify the interface-only regression
fails. Reconcile the lease migration's existing-row premise.

ADR: 0057
Record complete producer delivery with exact local evidence, verified
review fixes and preserved decision history. Keep PR approval separate
and name the remaining dispatcher and consumer decision passes.

Changes

This change implements transactional outbox production and owner-side domain-event completion. It adds shared audit and transaction coordinators, tenant-announcement snapshots, and a tenant-provisioning event. It also adds architecture enforcement, updates project records, and introduces phase-tagged browser diagnostics. Dispatcher and consumer delivery remain pending.

Successful saves stage and promote domain events. The transaction owner drains them sequentially. PostgresOutbox validates event contracts and inserts events immediately in the announced transaction. API and Seeder compositions register the interceptor and outbox.
Tenant provisioning event flow
backend/src/Modules/Tenancy/...
The first default-organization assignment raises TenantCreatedDomainEvent. Its handler translates the event to TenantCreatedIntegrationEventV1 and enqueues a tenant-partitioned outbox row.
Architecture enforcement and project records
backend/tests/..., docs/..., .claude/skills/..., README.md, CLAUDE.md
Tests cover producer admission, event contracts, rollback, owner completion, audit atomicity, and provisioning. Architecture tests check production handlers and event contracts. ADR-0057 and related records distinguish implemented production behavior from pending dispatch and consumer work.

Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to b561c

Transactional event production is broadly implemented and tested. However, a failed outbox write can still be swallowed and reported as a successful commit, even though nothing was saved. Fix this before merging. Separately, the persistence setup still fails at runtime unless the pipeline services are also registered. A few documents also describe audit ownership and delivery status inaccurately.

53-79: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | 💤 Low value

Restore the planted mutations in a finally block.

Lines 64-72 change the shared Cecil modules. They add helper to external.Types and add field to root.Fields. If the Should().Contain assertion on Line 69 fails, execution skips the removal on Lines 71-72. The next loop iteration does not run, so the failure stays inside this test. The failure message can still mislead, because the first assertion stops the run before the second assembly is checked. DomainEventHandlerTests already uses try/finally for the same pattern. Use it here as well.

♻️ Proposed fix
                 external.Types.Add(helper);
                 var field = new FieldDefinition("ReviewHelper", FieldAttributes.Private, owner.ImportReference(helper));

221-222: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick win

AddLearnStackPersistence now silently depends on AddLearnStackMediatRPipeline.

DomainEventSaveChangesInterceptor needs DomainEventCollector, and PostgresOutbox needs ProducerExecution. Only AddLearnStackMediatRPipeline registers these two services. AddModuleDbContext resolves every ISaveChangesInterceptor. If a composition calls AddLearnStackPersistence without the pipeline, every module DbContext resolution fails at runtime because no service is registered. This change had to add AddLearnStackMediatRPipeline() to AuditCaptureWiringTests (Line 185) and EducationPersistenceTests (Line 290) for this reason. The persistence root's own comment says it is "self-sufficient". Register the two dependencies here with TryAddScoped, so each root stays complete on its own and repeated registration stays idempotent.

Keep private browser diagnostics contained while distinguishing launch,
hydration and document-fallback failures in the existing CI proof. The
first PR run failed without identifying the browser operation; preserve
all assertions and deadlines while making the next result actionable.

ADR: 0055
Align current-state references with delivered producer completion and
keep durable ordering, dispatch and inbox obligations with their owning
packets. Process-local serialization is not a durable ordering proof.

ADR: 0057
Remove the remaining durable-order equivalence claim found during the
independent CI follow-up review. Partition serialization is process-local;
P02b-2 G3 still owns ordering across commits and retries.

ADR: 0057
Keep XML guidance consistent with the corrected architecture and glossary.
Process-local invocation serialization does not decide durable ordering
across concurrent commits or retry, which remains P02b-2 G3.

Always run browser cleanup without allowing its failure to replace the
original diagnostic phase. A cleanup-only failure remains classified as
shutdown, and neither path exposes private exception text.

ADR: 0055
Retain the first failed browser receipt and distinguish the subsequent
passing integration evidence from an established cause. Record bounded
diagnostics, verified review corrections and their independent reviews;
the PR checks own final-head CI approval.

ADR: 0057
Exercise actual outbox receipts and require positive intent and owner
write observations so missing production work cannot pass these tests.

ADR: 0057
Keep the review follow-up traceable to verified regressions, controlled
mutations and independent reviews without claiming new runtime behavior.

ADR: 0057
A live transaction means frame completion refused before COMMIT. Route
that failure through guarded rollback so durable audit records the known
failure and cleanup cannot replace its original exception. Prove actual
business/outbox rollback and raw event-save admission in both hosts.

ADR: 0033, 0040, 0057
Keep shared transaction state inside the sequential-execution census,
with exact exceptions for independent singleton flights. Distinguish
private browser proof failures without exposing their source. Reconcile
uncached settings ownership and correct the historical clause locators
without changing accepted decisions.

ADR: 0033, 0040, 0041, 0057
A closed phase token alone cannot prove that an error was sanitized.
Use the same private brand at the outer proof boundary, retaining
sanitized first-error identity while refusing forged raw messages.

ADR: 0055
Record the independently verified pre-commit audit correction, bounded
proof changes and both completed review rounds against actual local
regression counters. Preserve historical evidence and keep exact-head CI
ownership separate from local results.

Do not describe inbox deduplication as shipped.

This entry says InProcessEventBus has the same IInboxGuard behavior as the durable path. The current transport only supplies handler invocation and tenant-context restoration; inbox deduplication remains a P02b-3 target. Split the test description or remove the shipped-behavior claim.

An absorbed SQL failure must not leave the producer unit eligible for
completion. Mark it rollback-only at the insert boundary while retaining
successful-production receipts only for completed inserts. Exercise both
rethrow and absorption against PostgreSQL and align the audit ownership
and delivered producer documentation with the shared coordinators.

ADR: 0040, 0057
Record the reproduced INSERT failure, both independent review rounds
and full backend regression without changing accepted decisions or
claiming dispatcher or consumer delivery is implemented.
