Summary

Complete P02d-7 with a shared foreground/CI demo lifecycle, bounded genericity controls and an always-running seeded production browser/Lighthouse check. Both institutional sites use the existing production API, native HTTPS renderer and normal app-role seeding; the CI proof stops its own Keycloak before navigation.

Approach

  • make demo owns API/web readiness and shutdown while preserving local data. make demo DEMO_MODE=ci uses private disposable configuration, a unique tmpfs-backed seven-service Compose project and confirmed owned cleanup.

  • Nonempty backend/frontend identity and compiled/restore project-reference controls enforce the approved G20 boundary, with planted failures and the schema-replacement companion.

  • Playwright 1.64.0's managed Chromium 156.0.8078.4 and Lighthouse 13.5.0 cover nine actual catalog/course/lesson URLs across English and Yoga EN/TR, with 27 serial cold audits. Normalized gzip <200,000 bytes, CLS <0.05 and automated accessibility 1 are hard checks; timing medians remain advisory. Real visitor/peer quotas stay unchanged.

  • The phase exit matrix maps all 36 deliverables, 79 criteria, 39 exclusions and nine exit obligations. New API-root/HTTP tests prove third-locale evolution without changing old EN/TR responses/migrations and organization-branding refusal without changing the mapped host's tenant palette. One combined 17-request test also pairs host/locale/org outcomes with exact raw translation satellite rows on every HTTP request's own enlisted connection.

  • Systematic review remediation restores the strict make seed launcher, independently attempts owned cleanup stages, and retains private failure causes internally. Genericity admission now covers supported alias/workspace/static imports, ambiguous local/config candidates, exact generated roots, evaluated compiler/project-reference inputs and bounded build shapes. Fast helper controls cover independent network overlap and timing medians; navigation counts are observed and uploads use named public artifact patterns. Known Gitignored machine files retain a narrow exception; automatic MSBuild user hooks remain refused. The CI-exposed cache timeout test now uses coordinated factory completion without changing production behavior or budgets.

Tests

Final PR CI run 38127402847 passed all seven required jobs at source head 8d9d219 (tested merge 2d8ff6b, parents 3783461 / 8d9d219). Downloaded TRX files verify 2,964 backend passes: 1,705 unit + 203 architecture + 4 contract + 180 Docker-free integration + 872 Docker integration, zero failures/skips. Downloaded frontend logs verify 1,538 passes (1,478 web + 60 SDK), zero failures/skips/todos. Release build/format, typecheck, lint, builds, SDK drift, OpenAPI, meta and secret scan pass. All seven checks are attributed to GitHub Actions app 15368 on the exact source head. CodeRabbit also succeeds; no unresolved review threads remain.

Downloaded demo artifacts contain exactly 27 JSON/HTML pairs, nine screenshots and two sanitized receipts. Nine counted linked navigations, 24 actual visibility refusals, both TLS refusals, the real audit-timeout control and owned cleanup pass on the four-CPU Ubuntu 24 hosted runner with sandbox-enabled managed Chromium. All 134 API observations are 200; zero 429/malformed/pending records. Setup/proof/cleanup: 170,462/618,055/10,695 ms. Every audit has CLS 0, accessibility 1 and normalized gzip 106,358–106,552 bytes. Report digests, source/checkout/build/configuration/invocation, nine-URL/three-run census and every advisory median were independently checked. The receipt configuration matches the committed census. Owned AppArmor policy preparation/removal also passes. Timing medians remain advisory.

All four original implementation steps, all three systematic-review remediation steps and both late focused follow-ups completed two fresh independent review rounds. Verified launcher, cleanup, cause-retention, source-census, artifact and documentation findings are closed. Reviewer counterexamples for alias/native/workspace/config and MSBuild admission were reproduced, fixed and paired with clean controls. Known ignored machine files are admitted only through the narrow Git-verified exception; .csproj.user build hooks remain refused. An earlier ec86884 CI job exposed the pre-existing cache timeout test's competing-timer race; 32a7951 replaces that timing dependence with an explicit factory-release signal, preserves cache-owned timeout/replacement/late-result assertions and changes no production behavior or budget. The final full CI above supersedes that failed job. Local reruns pass all 1,538 frontend and 1,705 unit cases, including all 51 cache cases; focused genericity, lint, typecheck, 15 sandbox controls and seven ADR-status controls pass. The complete PR's 36 Markdown files resolve 2,289 relative links and 719 fragments without errors. The systematic remediation record owns commits, review outcomes and every finding disposition. Historical reviewed-head verification retains the separate d47ef17 run; the CI and phase-exit closeout owns activation history and evidence boundaries.

Manual accessibility is carried forward from PR #27's attributed P6 record (commit 180dde0, macOS 27.0.1, Brave 154.1.96.61): keyboard/focus/320px reflow, calculated palette contrast and maintainer VoiceOver flows/recovery on both hosts. P7 adds browser/automated evidence; it claims no new final-head manual WCAG or zoom audit.

Reproduce in a fresh checkout without .env, web .env.local or artifacts/public-demo: (cd frontend && pnpm install --frozen-lockfile && pnpm exec playwright install --with-deps chromium), then make demo DEMO_MODE=ci. Review sanitized receipt/report/screenshot artifacts; cleanup must pass too.

Risk

Tenant isolation and trust remain governed by ADR-0036/0052–0055. The proof runs the production API as learnstack_app, observes physical READ ONLY/RLS and does not forge visitor identity, inflate quotas or retry 429s. Report admission refuses stale/error/warning/omitted/hidden results. Only public reports/screenshots and bounded receipts are uploaded; private environment, TLS keys, profiles and raw process logs are excluded.

Full Playwright Test/axe and Studio remain Phase 06; production p95/field metrics/load testing remain Phase 11. Course Marketplace remains Proposed. After the first complete successful real PR run 38106505383, the authorized seventh required context was activated. Full API read-back confirms all six earlier contexts, strict mode and every unrelated protection setting preserved.

Migration / Rollback

No production schema or public API change. Local stop preserves persisted data; isolated CI stop removes only owned disposable resources. Managed Chromium installation is a prerequisite for the audit proof; local foreground use retains its documented browser/hosts/CA setup. On ephemeral GitHub-hosted Linux only, an exact-executable temporary AppArmor userns profile preserves sandbox-enabled managed Chromium, with owned unload/removal. The 20-minute CI ceiling reserves four minutes for teardown/policy cleanup/artifacts and keeps the internal 12-minute serial proof bound. The disabled Lighthouse placeholder is replaced by the shared executable job.

Prepared with OpenAI Codex.

Record PR #27's merged head and independently verified merge-run evidence
so current status surfaces agree with the delivered public renderer.
Keep dated delivery history intact and name P02d-7's remaining decisions,
demo, Lighthouse and phase-exit obligations without starting that packet.
Record the approved lifecycle, genericity scope and serial browser/audit
measurement boundaries before implementation. Register the four proof
obligations without claiming passing runtime evidence or activating CI.

ADR: 0056
Give local and isolated CI runs one owned lifecycle with explicit stack
selection, migration readiness and seed-derived public content checks.
Preserve local data and refuse foreign listeners or uncertain cleanup.
The browser audit driver remains in its approved subsequent step.

ADR: 0056
Keep selected database configuration consistent before stack actions and make
owned teardown survive terminal hangup. Preserve split UTF-8 output within a
byte bound and keep public marketing outside private-content exclusions.

ADR: 0056
Close the second P02d-7 Step 1 review findings before the
ADR-0056 browser and audit work.
Close the focused ADR-0056 lifecycle fix review with a live
profile-boundary mutation and its accepted-hop control.
Project typed SeedData into exact backend/frontend identity controls,
ban production Seeder references and preserve the schema-revision
behavioral companion for the ADR-0056 exit foundations.
Keep the exact-literal guard effective across compiled C# branches, UTF-8
constants, emitted JSX values and runtime helpers behind test exclusions.
The first independent review found and reproduced each escape.
Keep lexical configurations independent and resolve static module URLs so
source exclusions cannot hide a demo-specific runtime helper.

ADR: 0056
Preserve the bounded import census when resolver options change the
location of a relative runtime helper.

ADR: 0056
Measure the actual seeded product navigation with bounded, repeatable
browser and audit evidence while preserving real admission and cleanup.
Keep passing local feasibility distinct from pending CI enforcement.

ADR: 0056
Close independently reproduced false-green paths in completion logging,
Lighthouse timeout admission and visible product identity. Exercise real
DOM mutations and the pinned soft-timeout behavior in the shared proof.

ADR: 0056
Keep damaged or deferred API refusals out of successful demo receipts,
and require the bounded seeded visibility controls to run against the
actual browser document.

ADR: 0056
Share the existing five-second cleanup reserve between process stopping
and output drain, and record the independent causal fix verification.

ADR: 0056
Record the complete round-two runtime proof and scoped source identity
so the CI exit step starts from verified evidence.

ADR: 0056
Run the shared seeded browser and audit lifecycle in real PR checks,
keep public artifacts bounded, and pair each exit obligation with its
named proof. Add third-locale and organization-branding pipeline/HTTP
cases and carry remaining lifecycle work to its explicit phase owner.
Live protection activation waits for the first successful real job.

ADR: 0056
Module: Tenancy, Education
Pair host, locale and organization HTTP outcomes with raw translation
reads on each request connection. Reserve cleanup inside the CI budget
and prepare sandbox-enabled managed Chromium on hosted Linux only.
Reconcile mutable exit and review guidance with delivered contracts.

ADR: 0036, 0040, 0052, 0056
Module: Education, Tenancy
Record independent runtime and corpus approval, focused proof results
and verified navigation fixes. Keep real Linux CI, full receipts and
seventh-check activation explicitly pending before phase exit.

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to 4541d

The demo lifecycle and browser proof appear ready to merge. However, the new genericity tests can fail on developer machines that contain ignored local files such as editor swap files or local environment files. Filtering those files out would keep local test runs reliable.

Guard the nullable Curriculum the same way the producer does.

DemoIdentities.Create skips tenants with tenant.Curriculum is not { } curriculum. Curriculum is therefore optional by contract. This test uses tenant.Curriculum!. If a tenant without a curriculum is added to SeedData. All, the test throws NullReferenceException and gives no useful G20 diagnostic. Mirror the producer's guard.

Proposed fix
-            var curriculum = tenant.Curriculum!;
+            if (tenant.Curriculum is not { } curriculum) continue;

Keep documented environment and OS/editor/log files out of raw census
classification only when Git ignores them. Preserve source/unknown
format admission and evaluated compiler coverage.

ADR: 0018, 0056
Do not treat .user files as inert machine artifacts: the SDK can
import .csproj.user targets after the evaluation-only source census.
Keep those formats refused and plant ignored-file negative controls.

Record the second independent review counterexample without changing
production behavior or expanding supported build shapes.
Record both independent reviews, the verified MSBuild counterexample
and passing clean and rejection controls. Keep moving-head CI proof
with the required PR rollup and preserve earlier dated receipts.
Hold the original factory until its own cache timeout is observed,
then release it and verify replacement and late-result behavior.
This removes the race between two elapsed timers on loaded CI workers
without changing production code, budgets or the asserted contract.

Distinguish the test harness timeout and always release the factory.
Close both independent review rounds and local unit verification for
the CI-exposed timing race. Preserve the failed-job disclosure and
require replacement final-head CI before merge.
