The API provides a few built-in statuses that can be applied through skills. Dynamic skills can add them as an effect and coded skills can use the StatusHolder class to apply them easily. Here is the current list of custom statuses:
Silence
Silence prevents the target player from using skills. This does not work on mobs.
Root
Root prevents the target from moving, but they can still look around. This works on mobs and players
Disarm
Disarm prevents the target player from attacking. This does not work on mobs.
Stun
Stun prevents the target player from moving, using skills, attacking, or looking around. If this is applied to a mob, it just prevents them from moving. This is the equivalent of a Silence, Root, and Disarm all in one.
Channel
Marks the player as channeling, allowing them to be interrupted before an effect happens.
Absorb
Absorb causes the player to heal instead of take damage. This does not work on mobs.
Curse
Curse causes the player to take damage instead of being healed. This does not work on mobs.
Invincible
Invincibility negates all damage the player takes. This does not work on mobs.
