I often find both the "full" and "light" options for area randomization to be more confusing than I want to deal with. I was thinking of a way to make a simpler option.
My idea is a "partial" area randomizer, where some of the connections (say, 50%) are kept vanilla while the rest are randomized. This would allow for some fun layouts, without having to remember so many connections.
