* markdown files * chore(c-cpp): union files.associations from ~/dev vscode settings Give the 28 in-wave C/C++ projects (and gold **c** / **cxx** / **c_cxx** templates) a sorted **files.associations** union of all associations found under **~/dev**; * .gitattributes * .vscode/settings.json * .vimrc * .sis * chore(<lib>): use computed PREFIX_VER with documented PATCH Align library version macros to c-cpp-standards. Bump to 0.3.0-beta1 with LIBPATH_VER_RELSTATUS 0x81 (ALPHABETA retained as a skip-section alias); record post-alpha1 boilerplate, helpers, modular CI, and test.scratch.versions in CHANGES/NEWS; fill AUTHORS/FAQ/REQUISITES, fix INSTALL step prose, extend LICENSE to 2026, and refresh README dependency links.
Align with Synesis subject-directory naming: examples/cpp/parse with main.cpp; unit tests under compare(.C)/equal(.C)/parse(.C)/shim-strings/ type-strings/version with entry.c|cpp; scratch compare-models with main.cpp; update runners, CMake targets, and ci allowed-to-fail.
Switch unit-test assertion macros to xtests/terse-api.h short forms, leaving runner macros unchanged.
