A small CGNS mesh for the new test cgns_reader/channel_sections.cfg of the SU2 PR on the CGNS reader (link below once open).

  • mesh_channel_sections.cgns (62 KB): a 3D channel with 96 cells (hexahedra and prisms). Its boundaries are split in sections by element type (quad_back + tri_back) and by block (lower_1 + lower_2), and the ZoneBC groups them, as Pointwise and other meshers do.
  • gen_mesh.c: the small program that writes the mesh with the CGNS library, so it can be made again.

A 3D channel of 96 cells (hexahedra and prisms) whose boundaries are
split in sections by element type and by block, grouped by the ZoneBC,
as meshers write them. gen_mesh.c writes it with the CGNS library.
