[Bug]: Errors due to folder permission #746

Before reporting

• I'm on the latest release and the issue still happens.
• I searched existing issues and didn't find a duplicate.

What happened?

I am getting this error

[stemdeck] failed to write migration flag: Access is denied. (os error 5)

I believe it is due to folder permission

I have placed the Stemdeck installation under Program Files (x86)
When I run the Stemdeck.exe (via a DT shortcut or directly), I get the error mentioned above.
When I give the Exe permission to run as Administrator, everything is fine.

Would it be better UX, for App to ask for the permission via popup before continuing?
