The Extract row's vocal mode buttons read as stems rather than as a setting on Vocals #669
The Extract row reads: All, Vocals, All, Lead + Backing, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano, Other.
Four of those are stems and two are a setting on one of them, and nothing on screen says which is which. "All" and "Lead + Backing" sit as loose chips among the stems, so they read as peers of Drums and Bass rather than as a choice about the chip immediately before them.
It is also half of why the two controls called "All" are confusing (#659): the second one is not obviously attached to anything.
What it should do
Show that the two mode buttons belong to Vocals, without making the row taller or the chips a different size from each other.
Constraints for whoever fixes it
Every chip in that row is 30px. A wrapper with its own padding and border makes the group 38px and it hangs below everything beside it, which is worse than the problem.
The mode buttons are only on screen while Vocals is selected, so whatever marks the grouping has to survive them appearing and disappearing.
Colour is already carrying state in that row: a selected stem is tinted, and the active mode is tinted. Anything that tints the group as a whole makes the inactive mode look selected.
