bug(mixer): fader thumb not draggable in WKWebView #40

Closed

Description

@thcp

Summary

Volume faders in the mixer were visible but could not be dragged. The thumb was stuck at the leftmost position (or wherever it initialized).

Root cause

Two issues combined:

  1. .lane-header.unavailable .lane-knob { pointer-events: none } cascaded to the child <input type="range">, blocking native drag interaction
  2. The .lane-knob flex container had effectively zero width due to competing fixed-width sibling elements, leaving no room for the fader track

Fix

  • Removed pointer-events: none from the .lane-knob in the unavailable rule (opacity dim kept)
  • Tightened all non-fader elements (name col, dB value, buttons, padding, gap) so the flex:1 fader gets sufficient width
  • Set touch-action: pan-y on .mx-fader-input for WKWebView horizontal drag

Release

    Fixed in this session: fader drag events now work correctly in WKWebView after removing the Web Audio GainNode path.
