You are using Tornado wrong!

Classic ioloop base on yield and decorator - deprecated. It will be removed in Tornado6.
You should use async/await only for uvloop.
You should drop momoko and start to use asyncpg. (asyncpg much faster)

Please do not mislead. Tornado performance close to aiohttp.

Also, will be good if you run multiple servers, one server per core, it's a common way to run async frameworks.
