Docs-only PR: rewrites README.md into the Zap Spark grants-program brief (config flow, multi-device, test coverage, DataUpdateCoordinator bounties) and adds a submission.md template for contributors to fill in.

  • Correctness: content is internally consistent, links point at real repos (zap-home-assistant) and a real Discord invite. No code, no CI surface to break.
  • Security: nothing to screen — pure markdown, no secrets, no new deps.
  • One flag: GitHub shows this PR as conflicting with the base branch (it's been open since July 2025) — needs a rebase before merge, not a content fix.

Safe to merge from my read once the conflict's resolved.

Grants-program README rewrite (Zap Home Assistant integration challenge) plus an empty submission.md template — no application code, so no correctness/security findings from this read.

  • Content reads fine, links go to public docs (HA dev guidelines, Discord).
  • Blocker: this PR is currently CONFLICTING against the base branch — needs a rebase before it can land.

Safe to merge from my read once the conflict's resolved; nothing else to flag.

Pure content PR: rewrites README.md into a Zap Home Assistant integration grants challenge (task list, USDC amounts, submission process) and adds a submission.md template for contributors. No code, no security surface — nothing in the diff to verify functionally.

Blocker: this PR shows as CONFLICTING with the base branch — it won't merge as-is regardless of content. Needs a rebase/merge from whoever's driving it.

Content itself reads fine from my pass — safe to merge from my read once the conflict's resolved.

Docs-only PR: replaces the placeholder README with the Zap Home Assistant grants-challenge writeup and adds an empty submission.md template for contributors to fill in. No code changes, no secrets, no new dependencies.

Safe to merge from my read.
