When adding a new repo:

  1. you click the add repo tab button
  2. you click the folder button
  3. the folder menu opens
  4. and then you have to click the folder select button to select a folder

this pr shortens that to:

  1. add a repo tab
  2. you click the folder button
  3. the folder menu opens AND the OS folder selection dialog opens automatically (one less click)

Not planned. For new users, they may want to add all their local repositories one-by-one. In this case, auto-open repository every time a new folder is added, which is quite inconvenient because users need to open another blank page to add the next repository.

I think there is some misunderstanding.
You wrote "because users need to open another blank page to add the next repository", but that is already the case in the current version (v2026.22), so this PR would not change that.
The only thing this PR does is to save the user 1 click, because the FolderPicker will be opened automatically once the OpenLocalRepository view opens and I think this is an improvement.
