About InkControl

InkControl is a native macOS application designed for controlling Dasung E-ink monitors. It resides in your menu bar, allowing you to adjust screen settings directly from the system interface, replacing the need for physical buttons on the monitor.

Key Features

🎛 Hardware Control

Adjust monitor settings via software without touching physical buttons:

• Display Mode: Switch between Auto, Text, Image, Active and other modes. InkControl detects your monitor model and shows the modes it supports.
• Refresh Speed: Choose a refresh speed from 1 to 5.
• Text Enhancement: Sharpen text on monitors that support it.
• Front Light: Adjust the intensity of cool and warm front lights on models that have them.
• Disable Dithering: Turn off macOS's dithering on the display for steadier text.

• Auto Refresh: Set intervals to automatically refresh the screen and reduce ghosting.

• One-Click Refresh: Manually clear ghosting at any time with a customizable global shortcut.

  

🎨 Native Design

Follows macOS design guidelines for a natural experience:

• Menu Bar App: Always available in the menu bar, never intrusive.
• Liquid Glass: Uses the system Liquid Glass on macOS 26, and translucent materials on macOS 15.

Activation Steps

1. Click the link above to purchase a license.
2. You will receive an activation code via email (Format: INK-XXXX-XXXX...).
3. Open InkControl, go to Settings > License and enter your activation code.

Other Paperlike monitors that use the same protocol can still connect and be refreshed, but mode switching stays disabled until their mode settings are known. If you have one, please open an issue.

• Processor: Full support for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4/M5)
