ShipStation's NetSuite integration supports custom plugin implementations that let you control exactly how orders are exported to ShipStation and how shipment notifications are written back to NetSuite. This repository provides the scaffolding to build, test, and deploy those implementations.
This repository assumes you are comfortable writing JavaScript and have a working understanding of how NetSuite SuiteScript works — including SuiteScript 2.1 module syntax (define), the N/record and N/query APIs, and how script records are created and deployed in NetSuite.
ShipStation's NetSuite SuiteApp exposes two plugin types:
- Orders Export — called by ShipStation to fetch a page of orders from NetSuite
- Shipment Notifications — called by ShipStation to write tracking updates back to NetSuite as Item Fulfillments
A plugin implementation is a SuiteScript file that implements one of these plugin types. This repository uses the SuiteCloud SDK to package and deploy those scripts — along with their NetSuite Object descriptors — directly to your account. Once deployed, the scripts become selectable in the ShipStation configuration pages inside NetSuite.
