Rationale and extra context

The compiler is saying that let x = 1 has type bool, which doesn't make much sense.

I believe that it's just hardcoded somewhere, otherwise I don't see why it's bool
It's bool for some reasons, but anyway, what in your opinion this error should say?

It probably should just omit saying the "because this is bool" part.
