"when I was making the megathread originally, or the tabs/sections, I wasn't thinking from a popularity stand point, generally I was thinking how I would use it, and what I would want to see. So because I never played NES or SNES, or had an interest in doing so, they got put in the Retro tab"~SuperBio
Based on your workflow description, sorting each Tab by Release Date in descending order will achieve what you want: Your favorite systems will naturally sort to the TOP, while your least favorite systems "Retro" will naturally sort to the BOTTOM: Negating the need for a "Retro" Tab altogether.
And for everyone else, the Contents bar will allow for easy navigation and jumping between sections of different console generations.
Also, the <- Previous and Next -> buttons need to be moved to just above the Table of Contents, imo.
This will allow the Q Search button to fall into its most natural place (on most websites): Which is the top right position.
"This can all be changed"
Yeah, I hope you do change it: It really needs it, imo.
Just these few small changes will make a world of difference, imo.
Also, I noticed that the "About RVZ files" doesn't appear to belong on the Popular Games Tab/Page:
It probably belongs on the Home tab, which appears to act as a "Help" section.
Finally, I think the <- Previous and Next -> probably do suggest Alphabetical Order of Arcade platforms, Microsoft consoles, Nintendo consoles, Sega consoles, & Sony consoles, with the exception of the functional outliers at the beginning & end (Home aka "Help"/"Getting Started", Popular aka "Starred"/"Pinned"/"Favorites", PC platform, & Miscellaneous aka "Other"), which are already ordered appropriately, imo.
