I've led engineering teams and designed insurance quotation engines; if you've bought motor, home or commercial insurance in the UK, there's a reasonable chance you've interacted with technology I helped build or design.

I've also spent part of my career applying technology to politics and social causes.
After the Brexit referendum I became CTO at Best for Britain, leading digital campaigning and building GetVoting.org, which was used by more than 4.5 million people in the six weeks before the 2019 general election.
In 2015, my partner and I built Refugee Maps to help in the refugee crisis. It was covered by Slate and The Guardian.
And during the 2011 Libyan civil war, when my father was among thousands of Indians stranded in Libya, I launched an evacuation campaign that helped trigger the Indian government's response and Operation Safe Homecoming.
