A transient machine exec failure can mark a healthy rolling deployment as failed and interrupt rollback verification. Runtime probes now retry transport failures with a bounded timeout while still requiring the exact release SHA and runtime contract. Validated with the deployment script tests, TypeScript checks, production build, and local hosted review.
