ApprovabilityVerdict: Approved at Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — This is a small, self-contained fix to flat Device pointer ownership and capture-loss handling, with focused browser tests covering the affected gesture lifecycles. The remaining changes do not affect schemas, deployment, security-sensitive code, product defaults, or static-analysis configuration. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. Learn more. |

Ignore pointer-down events until input is connected.
sendTouch drops iOS input before admission without reporting it. The handler records activePointer before that call. The new guard then rejects a later pointer-down, so the later admitted pointer sends no begin. The base handler did not reject later pointer-down events, so this blocking behavior is introduced by the PR.

Resolve the DeviceStreamView conflict with pingdotgg#17020 by keeping both pointer-down guards: a non-primary mouse button and a second pointer while one is active are both ignored. The browser tests keep main's touches array; the ownership and capture-loss tests now read it. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

The stream client opens its input WebSocket only after the MJPEG prime fetch resolves. configure() looked up the fake socket synchronously and silently did nothing when it did not exist yet, so on a slow runner the first test saw no touch packets. configure() now awaits the socket. Explain why these tests disable the router.
Both renders pass router: false without the required one-line explanation. Add a comment at each override, or use the default router. As per coding guidelines: “router is on by default. Pass router: false only with a one-line comment saying why.”

Problem
The Flat Device view uses one boolean for every pointer. A second finger can start another gesture, forward its own movement, and end the first finger's gesture when it lifts. Losing pointer capture can leave that boolean active.
Change
Track the active pointer ID and its last normalized point. Ignore other pointers until it ends. On capture loss, end that pointer once at its last point. Clear ownership when the stream is torn down.
This is limited to Flat input. It does not change 3D input, touch-action, or mouse-button filtering. #17020's non-primary mouse guard and #21197's paste support are separate changes in the same component.
Verification
crew-mini-iphone17profrom the Mac mini. Trusted mouse drag emitted begin/move/end. Native capture release emitted one end and suppressed later move/up packets. A subsequent drag worked.Physical multi-finger touch was not tested. Android live verification did not complete because its stream returned no video; no Android gesture pass is claimed.
