feat(mobile): use shared custom segmented controls - #20116
Conversation
ApprovabilityVerdict: Needs Human Approval Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — This PR replaces native segmented controls across multiple existing mobile surfaces with a new custom renderer and changes default sizing, theming, interaction, accessibility, and animation behavior. It also changes Android dialog embedding and native dependency patch inputs, making the runtime and platform impact broader than a self-contained UI tweak. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. Learn more. |

VoiceOver activation therefore does not callonPressorprops.onSelect, so iOS screen-reader users cannot change the selected segment, including callers usingrole="tab".Suggested fix

Replace the native segmented controls with the shared T3 capsule design on iOS and Android. The public
SegmentedControlAPI stays the same, so existing callers pick up the new rendering. The selected segment uses a raised themed surface and a short sliding animation, with reduced-motion support. Android's custom snooze dialog embeds the same control through
RNHostView. Remove the unused Expo iOS picker-color patch. Before / after
