Resumed Codex threads can return enough history to exceed the bounded JSON reader, leaving a healthy session waiting forever. Cancellation also killed app-server without sending turn/interrupt, which could leave an in-progress server turn behind. This release requests bounded resume metadata, adds one-shot orphan interruption, and sends turn/interrupt before cancellation or timeout teardown. Verified with 208 unit tests, clippy, build, and a live no-prompt check against the reported long idle session. Two unrelated Codex 0.147 live checks for account usage and the model catalogue fail unchanged on master.
