Scope

V3 dashboard delivery from the approved remediation program, targeting develop. The aggregate develop → main PR remains for human review.

  • One explicit Refresh control, staged POST operation, stable operation IDs and per-operation polling.
  • GET routes are read-only; old scan-starting GET paths are rejected or removed.
  • Preserve Maintenance review/consent journeys, blocking writes while another operation is active and handling cross-tab conflicts without claiming another operation's success.
  • Use the current project-tree selection on every machine refresh, including true → false transitions across the shared collector.
  • Align dashboard vocabulary, unknown state, contrast, hash navigation, current guides and ADRs.
  • Retain a bounded set of native transcript readers across idle pauses and window displacement; mark structured live input experimental.
  • Carry paused scan timestamps through Activity without inventing completion times; reject impossible calendar dates.
  • Archive the completed implementation plan and retain its source-bound evidence qualifications.

Review and evidence

Every task and correction received independent review. The final whole-branch review found a sticky project-tree option; the fix and real persistent-collector HTTP regression passed scoped re-review. The final eight-gate run passed at cd5cd08b52a190e2a91540b404b648f6b43a365c:

  • 5,966 unit tests passed, 0 failed, 6 native-Windows-only skips.
  • Coverage: 94.55% lines, 83.23% branches, 93.55% functions.
  • Actual browser: 514 checks passed, plus 15 additional UI tests.
  • Typecheck, lint, complexity ceiling, Markdown, build/pack validation and offline links passed.
  • The guarded suites reported no real-state changes and removed their own run roots; unknown pre-existing sibling roots were retained.

Native PR CI, including Windows, is still required before squash integration.

A genuine native Codex 0.159.0 idle fork demonstrated process-to-transcript binding in a plain non-Git folder through the real process survey and live service. No runtime descriptor was injected and no generated transcript header was edited. This proves idle presence binding only, not inference, detailed activity, billing, browser behavior or empty history.

The latest Codex registry version remained 0.159.0 at the pre-PR recheck; its verified native artifact accepted read-only/no-approval app-server flags and initialized in an isolated home. No global installation changed.

Limits and dependencies

  • Offset retention is bounded and in-memory. Eviction can replay earlier records; a new process bootstraps existing metadata and follows from EOF. This is not durable exactly-once delivery or proof of unchanged historical token accounting.
  • Structured live-events input is experimental; no real producer was verified.
  • fix: dashboard session stream stuck on "CONNECTING" — capture a browser network trace #254 remains evidence-gated on the requested browser network trace and is handled in V7 if no trace arrives.
  • ADR-0063's offline retry limitation remains until the separate V4 fix integrates. ADR-0048's human evaluation gates are deferred to v5 under the approved decision.
  • The paused-history producer is in V4; this PR supplies its compatible Activity consumer. V6's new session vocabulary/count-basis consumers land after this PR.
  • Releases, global installation, real-data cleanup, and the final main merge remain deferred or separately gated. All worktrees/branches are retained.

Native PR CI

CI run 36562711320 passed all 13 jobs at cd5cd08b, including Windows/Node 22, 24 and 26 and Linux browser verification. The additional devcontainer workflow passed its applicable detection and checkout-build jobs; its published-release consumer job was not applicable and was skipped. Final independent review and all eight local gates also passed at this exact head.

* fix(upstream-watch): retry and pace routine dispatch

The first scheduled dispatch fired 7 released fixes back to back and all
got HTTP 503 without a session, failing the run. The error also dropped
the response body and request id.

- retry 5xx trigger answers up to 3 attempts with backoff (4xx not retried)
- include request-id and the response error message in the failure
- fire at most 3 fixes per run, 15s apart; stop at the first failed call
- defer the rest to the next run without recording an error

* feat(upstream-watch): report fixes deferred to the next run

Surface the dispatcher's deferred list in watch.json, the console output
and the workflow summary so a backlog is visible, not silent. Pause between
firings uses the script's injectable sleep.

* fix(upstream-watch): bound trigger retries and redact error metadata
