• bed diagnostics: the deliberate IgnorePkg kernel-hold warning is not allowlisted, so every bed on the kernel-held VM fixture reports warnings=1

opencharly/plugin-check#131 · Filter by author aitrawog opened on Oct 22, 2026

• A bed's failed deploy-add can leave the VM that vm-create created running — observed, mechanism open

• check-roster: a panicking fan-out returns rc=2 and names no bed — an engine crash is reported in the code reserved for 'checks FAILED'

• the VM readiness stall's ROOT cause is unfound: a guest vm create reports as created that never answers sshd (charly#951, now bounded)

• a bed's live phase does not assert WHICH artifact it deployed, so its green is evidence about some image

opencharly/plugin-check#116 · Filter by author aitrawog opened on Oct 15, 2026

• a pod bed's live phase can certify a STALE local image: the deploy is added by box NAME while the build and check-box steps use the run-tagged ref

• A child check-live phase builds its plan from a bare-repo lookup, so a bed's candy PIN is fetched and cached correctly and then not used — the phase runs the previous version's plan

• A check: step scoped context: [deploy] runs in NEITHER check mode, so a candy/box plan can assert nothing and still report green

• the VM arm's [config] phase fails on the ephvm bed while the pod arm passes — mechanism unread

• a VM bed's [config] phase still fails with the deployKeyForBed fix applied — the pod leg is fixed, the VM leg is not
