While the slide list has focus, selected slides are outlined together in the Markdown text. One slide uses a muted border; multiple slides use the accent border. The border disappears while editing the text, and the selected sidebar thumbnails use a subdued border and badge until focus returns to the slide list.

The selection bar names the slide range and, when part of it is offscreen, shows Jump to selection's: Start / End controls. These reveal the complete boundary lines without changing the selection or caret. The outline stays separate from ordinary text selection.
