An Xposed/LSPosed & Magisk module to unlock 4K 60FPS video recording in the official MIUI / HyperOS Camera (com.android.camera) on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G (ruby).
- 🔓 Native 4K 60FPS: Unlocks 4K (3840×2160) @ 60 FPS directly in the official camera app.
- 🎛️ Stock UI Integration: Seamlessly adds the 60 FPS toggle button when 4K resolution is selected.
- ⚡ Zero Quality Loss: Leverages MediaTek's native hardware HEVC/H.264 VPU encoder (
c2.mtk.hevc.encoder). - 🛡️ Non-Destructive: 100% in-memory runtime hooks — zero modified system APKs, passes SafetyNet & Play Integrity.
- Device: Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G / Pro+ 5G (
ruby/ruby_id, Dimensity 1080) - ROM: MIUI 14 / HyperOS 1.0 / HyperOS 2.0 (Android 12 – 14)
- Root: Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch
- Xposed Framework: LSPosed or Vector

Stock MIUI/HyperOS artificially limits the video quality list for ruby to 4K 30FPS despite the Dimensity 1080 ISP & VPU supporting 4K 60FPS. This module hooks com.android.camera's ComponentConfigVideoQuality and ComponentConfigVideoSubFPS at runtime to inject the 4K 60FPS profile (2108 / "8,60") and render the 60 FPS toggle switch.
