The command cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/official-package-repositories.list should return:

deb http://packages.linuxmint.com xia main upstream import backport

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble-updates main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble-backports main restricted universe multiverse

deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ noble-security main restricted universe multiverse

I performed this test directly after a fresh install, without any customization.

I noticed that the problem had already appeared during the installation, so i installed Linux Mint without an internet connection.

This is the result i get back from this command.
But during an "apt update," the update encounters an error.

Detail: I am located in France, i don't know if there are recent American restrictions that could cause this.

I am located in France too, and I haven't this problem.
What does the command inxi -r return?

This window tells me that Linux Mint is inaccessible

I will test with another internet connection, to check if the same.

    @wlatendresse

Is this issue maybe related to a problem I currently having with an uneffective "Software Sources" "Source code repositories" button in 22.3 too? (See https://github.com/orgs/linuxmint/discussions/1398 for further explanations.)

With root privileges, edit the file /etc/apt/sources.list.
Add a # character before cdrom.
Save the file, then run apt update.

I've figured that out now, thanks. However, in my opinion, that somewhat contradicts the purpose of this GUI program. It simply shouldn't be necessary to take this step on the command line to make this work.
