Git commit
Each time I build sd.cpp for new tag I get this message.
[179/546] Installing frontend dependencies
? The modules directory at "/home/tipu/node_modules" will be removed and reinstalled from scratch. Proceed? (Y/n) ‣ true
It does not ask me for permission.
In Cmake, should it not be configured to put node_modules in frontend directory rather than touching home node_modules.
Operating System & Version
Ubuntu 22.04
GGML backends
Vulkan
Command-line arguments used
It is given below
Steps to reproduce
TAG_TO_BUILD="$1"
echo "--- Starting build for tag: $TAG_TO_BUILD ---"
==========================================================
Phase 1: Code Sync and Version Checkout
==========================================================
echo "1. Fetching all tags from remote..."
git fetch --tags
echo "2. Switching repository to requested tag: $TAG_TO_BUILD"
git checkout "$TAG_TO_BUILD" -f
echo "3. Updating submodules to match the tag's version..."
git submodule sync --recursive
git submodule update --init --recursive --force
Pause until any key is pressed
read -n 1 -r -p "Press any key to continue..." ;
Move to next line after keypress
echo
==========================================================
Phase 2: Clean Build Preparation (The comprehensive solution)
==========================================================
NEW: Cleanup compiled files if they were written to the source directory
echo "4. Removing compiled artifacts (*.o, *.a, *.so) from the 'ggml' source folder..."
Use maxdepth 1 to only check the top level of the ggml directory
find "$GGML_DIR" -maxdepth 1 -type f ( -name ".o" -o -name ".a" -o -name "*.so" ) -delete
echo "5. Performing FULL Clean Build: Removing old '$BUILD_DIR' directory to clear cache..."
rm -rf "$BUILD_DIR"
echo "6. Creating the new '$BUILD_DIR' directory..."
mkdir "$BUILD_DIR"
==========================================================
Phase 3: Configuration and Compilation
==========================================================
echo "7. Running CMake configuration ..."
cmake -S "$SOURCE_DIR" -B "$BUILD_DIR" -G "Ninja"
-DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
-DGGML_NATIVE=ON
-DSD_VULKAN=ON
-DGGML_BLAS=ON
-DGGML_BLAS_VENDOR=AOCL
-DBLAS_INCLUDE_DIRS="$AOCL_ROOT/include"
-DBLAS_LIBRARIES="$AOCL_BLAS_LIB"
-DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH="$AOCL_ROOT"
-DGGML_LTO=ON
-DBUILD_SHARED_LIBS=OFF
-DSD_SERVER_BUILD_FRONTEND=ON
echo "8. Starting compilation in Release mode..."
cmake --build "$BUILD_DIR" --config Release --clean-first --parallel $(nproc)
mv --backup=simple -S _backup /home/tipu/Development/GH/stable-diffusion.cpp/build/bin/* /home/tipu/Applications/sdcpp/
echo "✨ Build of tag $TAG_TO_BUILD complete! Check the /home/tipu/Applications/sdcpp/ directory for the executable."
What you expected to happen
Node modules from front-end sub folder should be used.
What actually happened
It is deleting my node modules in home directory.
