Summary

  • add a browser-scoped MyProxy WebExtension for Chromium, Firefox, and Safari packaging
  • route matched browser requests through the existing Mixed listener without copying nodes or subscriptions
  • add Safari native messaging protocol documentation for the containing macOS app bridge
  • document packaging commands in the project README

Validation

  • node --check browser-extension/background.js
  • node --check browser-extension/popup.js
  • scripts/package-browser-extension.sh chromium
  • scripts/package-browser-extension.sh firefox
  • scripts/package-browser-extension.sh safari
  • JSON manifest validation for all three outputs

Safari note

Safari has no WebExtension proxy API. The Safari resources intentionally use nativeMessaging; the native containing-app target still needs to forward the browser-scoped rule to myproxy Host IPC in a follow-up change.

Add Chromium, Firefox, and Safari WebExtension resources that route browser-scoped rules through the existing myproxy Mixed listener. Document the Safari native messaging boundary without duplicating nodes or subscriptions.
