Jason Harmon

Platform & Infrastructure Engineering Leader

I build secure, scalable platforms in environments where reliability, control, and clear system boundaries matter. Across 25+ years in engineering—including 15 years at JPMorgan Chase and most recently Senior Vice President—I have led architecture and delivery across cloud, data, AI, developer-platform, identity, resiliency, and automation work while remaining hands-on in AWS, Terraform, Python, SQL, Rust, TypeScript, and PowerShell.

My current focus is developer platforms, governed AI and agentic systems, infrastructure automation, and secure distributed services. I am also the sole inventor of U.S. Patent 11,487,865, covering enterprise credential automation.

Selected work

  • mcbaratone — A safety-gated autonomous Minecraft agent with a Python controller, Java/Fabric bridge, MCP and JSON-RPC interfaces, checkpointed planning, postcondition verification, and more than 2,300 offline tests.
  • StickerStream — A privacy-conscious vehicle inventory intelligence pipeline with concurrent source orchestration, canonical data normalization, geospatial enrichment, and explainable market-relative scoring.
  • EmberChamber — An invite-only, local-first encrypted messaging platform for trusted circles, spanning Cloudflare Workers, Next.js, React Native, Tauri, and shared Rust protocol and secure-state components. Live project
  • The Great Camp Crawl — A reproducible Python and TypeScript research pipeline that preserves source evidence, normalizes records, generates review queues, and publishes a searchable knowledge base. Live catalog

I value explicit system boundaries, deterministic verification, auditable automation, and software that remains understandable under operational pressure.
