On Windows,
findBinaryonly accepts.exe/.cmd. Two scan-path tests wrote a barecodexfile and inheritedprocess.platform, so they expected a candidate Windows cannot spawn.Pin

pnpm verifygreen (typecheck + lint + tests), including all 21 detector tests on Windows.
