[Bug]: error + restart of adapter javascript when clicking on "debug"-symbol #2382

Description

@jlegen

I'm sure that

  • This issue is still present in the current beta version of this adapter
  • There is no other (open) issue with the same topic (use the search!)
  • This issue is not described in the adapter documentation / FAQ (read the docs!)

Script type

Javascript

The problem

adapter version 10.2.2
js-controller version 7.2.2

In editor, the (apparently) debug symbol in top-right corner is the only icon there which does not have a tooltip explanation.
Clicking on it while the script in editor is running does show a popup question "Bist du sicher? Script wird gestoppt ... Fortsetzen?".
When clicking on "Abbrechen", debug mode is started, debug symbol gets blue color. Clicking on symbol again stops the mode, and script needs to be restarted.
=> behaviour is what to be expected when clicking on "Ja", not on "Abbrechen"

Now - when doing the same, but clicking on "Ja" (=> "Fortsetzen"), javascript adapter throws an error and restarts:

uncaught exception: write EPIPE at afterWriteDispatched (node:internal/stream_base_commons:159:15) at writeGeneric (node:internal/stream_base_commons:150:3) at Socket._writeGeneric (node:net:967:11) at Socket._write (node:net:979:8) at writeOrBuffer (node:internal/streams/writable:572:12) at _write (node:internal/streams/writable:501:10) at Writable.write (node:internal/streams/writable:510:10) at Console.log (/usr/local/iobroker/node_modules/winston/lib/winston/transports/console.js:87:23) at Console._write (/usr/local/iobroker/node_modules/winston-transport/modern.js:103:17) at doWrite (/usr/local/iobroker/node_modules/readable-stream/lib/_stream_writable.js:390:139)

Should work now. At least I could debug

unfortunately, with v10.2.5 i do not see any difference:

    • clicking on "cancel" when popup asks "are you sure" still counts as "yes"
    • regardless of choice, javascript adapter restarts with errors above
