Greg confirmed CISSP is expired. The live site still advertised it as current; this change stops that.

What changed

  • Homepage hero, meta description, and JSON-LD credentials no longer list CISSP as current.
  • About “Current” list is now SSCP and CompTIA SecurityX only (dates unchanged).
  • CISSP is named in the existing previously-held / expired sentence on About, next to Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, and AWS — not presented as current.

Not changed

  • SSCP and CompTIA SecurityX remain advertised as current.
  • No new cert dates.
  • No layout or CSS redesign.

Verified locally
Homepage current-certs line is SSCP and CompTIA SecurityX only:

Homepage current certifications: SSCP and CompTIA SecurityX

About Current list is SSCP and SecurityX; CISSP is in the expired/previous sentence:

About credentials: CISSP listed as previously held and expired

Success check: after merge, no page calls CISSP current. The only remaining mention is the expired/previous note on About.

CISSP is expired. Keep SSCP and CompTIA SecurityX as current, and mention CISSP only in the previously-held/expired note on About.

🟢 Approval recommended

The only remaining “CISSP” mention is in the explicitly expired/previously-held sentence, and current-credential listings no longer include CISSP.

Pull request overview

This PR updates public-facing site content to stop presenting CISSP as a current certification, while retaining SSCP and CompTIA SecurityX as current and keeping CISSP only in an explicitly “previously held/expired” context.

Changes:

  • Removed CISSP from the homepage meta description, hero copy, and JSON-LD hasCredential list.
  • Removed CISSP from the About page meta description and “Current” credentials list.
  • Added CISSP to the About page “previously held / expired” sentence so it remains mentioned only as expired.

Closing this — SSCP is also expired (Jun 2025), not only CISSP (Aug 2024). Site updates are going through Claude, not this PR.
