• A brace block on a name that is also a local fails to parse inside parentheses

• Set cannot be subclassed: Set.new and Set.[] ignore the receiver, so every subclass instance is a plain Set

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#903 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 5, 2026

• Two parity divergences: Array.new(2**128) raises the wrong class, and expand_path("~") raises where MRI does not

• TestUDPSocketLoopback can hang, and only the 40-minute suite timeout stops it

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#895 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 5, 2026

• Range#max(n) ignores the block's ordering, and the one spec for it cannot tell

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#891 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 4, 2026

• test (macos-latest) is cancelled after ~15 minutes without ever acquiring a runner

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#890 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 4, 2026

• ratchet: an unstable spec file has no honest row, so a flake is either a red build or a silently raised bar

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#887 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 4, 2026

• The ratchet is blind to a regression smaller than a file's unbanked improvement

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#881 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 3, 2026

• RbConfig::CONFIG["ruby_version"]: full version or API version?

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#878 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 3, 2026

• A native method cannot tell a positional Hash from keyword arguments, and raise's cause: pays for it

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#873 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 2, 2026

• Set#dup and Set#clone drop the subclass, its ivars and its singleton

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#866 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 1, 2026

• conformance: a before(:all)/after(:all) failure is counted in no tally

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#865 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 1, 2026

• compiler: a class/module keyword inside a method body must be a SyntaxError

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#860 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 1, 2026

• respondsToConversion asks an overridden #respond_to? with one argument; MRI passes two

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#859 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 1, 2026

• conformance: the spec corpus cache defaults to /tmp, which a reboot empties

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#857 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 1, 2026

• Range#min/#max with a comparison block say "unbounded" where MRI says "endless" and "beginless" — and no spec asserts either

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#854 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Nov 1, 2026

• A missing argument to a native method still surfaces Go's panic text as the Ruby message — the half of #777 that was left open

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#848 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Oct 31, 2026

• Math functions ignore extra arguments, and with none at all a Go panic becomes the Ruby error message

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#847 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Oct 31, 2026

• The conformance harness reads its tally out of the spec's own stdout: a spec file can dictate its recorded pass count

go-embedded-ruby/ruby#843 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Oct 31, 2026

• arch-qemu-nightly: internal/vm outgrew the 60m wall on riscv64, and s390x is at 96% of it

• Object.constants is empty (MRI: 120) and Module.constants returns 1615: the top-level constant table is invisible to enumeration

• The coverage gate reports 'further below than recorded' and does not fail on it: a recorded function can decay without limit

  bug
go-embedded-ruby/ruby#816 · Filter by author tannevaled opened on Oct 12, 2026

• Timeout.timeout never times out: it runs the block to completion and returns, so code that bounds untrusted work is unprotected and silent about it
