I'm having difficulty getting the Access Token?

Option 1: SMS
3. After the subscriber replies (Yes), the ACCESS_TOKEN and the subscriber’s mobile number will be posted to your Redirect URI

6. To get the access token, you need to do a POST request via http://developer.globelabs.com.ph/oauth/access_token with your ‘app_id’, ‘app_secret’ and ‘code’ as the parameters. The parameters ‘access_token’ and ‘subscriber_number’ will then be returned to your redirect uri as a response.

As it was stated in the documentation, once the subscriber agrees to register to your app, the API will send a POST request to your server. You have to make sure to catch that kind of request in your server in order to obtain the access token of the subscriber.

If you're using the web form, you'd have to fetch the access token by issuing a POST request to the URI given with your payload containing parameters access_token and subscriber_number.

sabi sa documentation GET request daw e.. so I tried retrieving yung access token using GET. here's my code.. kaso ayaw gumana.. sana may makatulong...

I think you misunderstood the documentation. You have to expose an endpoint for GET request which will handle saving the user access token. This is the redirect URI that you provided in the globe labs dashboard. Globe will then issue a GET request on your webhook containing details about the new subscriber. The access token will be in the query parameters of the request.

I have the redirect URI set in the app dashboard.. the server is currently hosted on a live server. the redirect URI has that code to handle the GET request.. it is correct?

@rrsilaya can you have a step by step or a sample code explaining how you get the access token? I tried to use the option via web and sms and they both failed to get the access token? I just followed the steps on the documentation in the globe labs.. Can anyone help us to understand how it really works and to clarify that the problem is on our side and not on the globe labs?

@ayophanz How did you get the access token using via web option? can please share it? Im trying to make it work via web and via sms but im not having any response from globe labs.

I was able to make it work, using the following code. Although I used NodeJS and Express. I updated the GlobeLabs NodeJS module and fixed some of its dependency problems. For now, I can assure that getting the access token and receiving and sending SMS works. Check my forked module for this.
