The README currently documents a deadlock bug in Deno 2.8.0–2.8.2 when using Module.registerHooks via --import/--preload — worth revisiting if the minimum becomes 2.8.2.

Also worth updating alongside this: .github/workflows/build.yml still defaults to v2.8.0 for CI, and packages/deno/src/denoVersion.ts gates MODULE_REGISTER_HOOKS_SUPPORTED at >= 2.8.0.

Since 2.8.3 is well behind the current Deno release (2.9.3), and avoids the loader hook deadlock bug, I think that's probably safer to just use as the minimum version. (Updated title)
