Steps to Reproduce

We've been using it with https://github.com/immobiliare/fastify-sentry, but the error seems to be from this package.

I'm not sure if I could show the actual code here as it is from my job and I signed a NDA, but would love some guidance to help you guys debugging this with me, if possible.

Expected Result

Sending traces to sentry should work normally.

I tried just using a bare minimum configuration:

I'd guess the problem is most likely diverging package versions - can you make sure that all @sentry/xxx packages you have installed have the exact same version? With nested and peer dependencies this can become tricky. The easiest is to delete your lockfile/node_modules and re-install, or check/fix the lockfile manually!

Hey @mydea, it worked. Looked up and some internal sentry packages were in a previous version than @sentry/node, this is the pnpm lockfile diff after forcefully updating all of them:

Which seems about right as spanContext was recently added at #10037.

I got this error in an react app, I check my sentry versions and all was the same. The problema was that this app load another one as a widget and this one has another version of sentry. Maybe another person reach here by a similar case ;-)
