Looks good to me. This is a clean entropy pass: redundant fixtures and mock-only cases are folded into stronger multi-assert tests, expensive Git setup is now demand-driven, and the dormant Dex/Semgrep/QA-alias cleanup stays out of production paths. Distinct security/trust/age-gate and sync prune/adopt coverage still looks intentional rather than hollowed out.

Prune redundant test coverage while preserving distinct security, trust,
filesystem, and runtime behavior. Repeated CLI scope, config and lockfile
serialization, wildcard, gitignore, and update-notifier scenarios are
consolidated; mock-only duplicates are removed; and expensive Git fixtures are
created only by tests that need them. The suite moves from 54 files, 1,163
runtime tests, and 20,425 lines to 52 files, 1,101 tests, and 19,996 lines.
This also removes dormant repository tooling found during the same entropy
pass: Dex task infrastructure, an orphaned Semgrep ignore, the superseded QA
specification, an obsolete smoke-script alias, and a stale Bun permission. No
production source or user-facing behavior changes.
