Part of #1377 (WIDGETS loop), from the second competitor sweep (_state/widget-loop/widget-competitors-2.md).
Idea: Drop an XDC file and your top-level port list to see ports with no PACKAGE_PIN, no IOSTANDARD, or clocks with no create_clock.
Why it may spread: ZipCPU clock and constraint posts; nextpnr-xilinx constraint warnings; Mastodon open-toolchain log screenshots
Done when: specs/widgets/xdc-check.t27 (KIND widget-tool, >= 2 passing tests) generates public/widgets/xdc-check/, the built-in sample comes from a real local yosys/nextpnr run named in DATA_SOURCES, card.png is 1200x630 from the same data, tri widget check + tri widget status show 0 problems, and the tool sits in gallery.t27.
