What

A client's story reel could end on the house's palette. The end-card defaults END_CARD_DEFAULT_TITLE (#FFD700) and END_CARD_DEFAULT_ACCENT (#00FF88) are what the host draws (StoryReel HOUSE_CARD and the schema defaults) whenever a client's card leaves a colour unset, or when she has no card at all but the pause still shows her call (cta_card_shown(call, false) is true for any call).

v25 says that this never reaches her reel:

• HOUSE_COLOURS_ON_CLIENT_REEL = false
• card_filled(own_reel, has_end_card, call_chars): a client's card is completed whenever the pause shows it. The house's own reel is left alone.
• default_ink(own_reel, white_x10, black_x10): a colour nobody gave becomes INK_WHITE_HEX or INK_BLACK_HEX, whichever reads better on her background. Ties go to white. The house's reel keeps INK_HOUSE, the house palette.
• CLIENT_CARD_CHECKED_AS_DRAWN: the contrast check reads the card as it will be drawn.
• VERSION 25, a dated header note, and a regenerated seal. NOW entry in a separate commit.

Evidence

• t27c test-report: 62/62 pass, 0 fail.
• 4 negative controls, each run on a copy, each caught with 1 FAIL:
  • >= changed to > in default_ink;
  • !own_reel dropped from card_filled;
  • own_reel || dropped from default_ink;
  • return INK_BLACK changed to INK_WHITE.
