…s from the live board Epic browseros-ai#1334 froze a table of counts the day it was written and observed that every number in it goes stale within the day. An epic is a map, not a task; what a tool can do is keep the map true by rewriting it from measurement. tools/queen-epic-ledger.mjs reads GET /queen/status and GET /queen/public-board from the configured supervisor origin (default https://trios-agent-server-production.up.railway.app, overridable with --origin or TRIOS_SUPERVISOR_ORIGIN), reads the GitHub state of the seven blockers browseros-ai#1327-browseros-ai#1333 from the public REST API, and writes docs/queen-epic-1334-ledger.md. Every count and every issue state carries the ISO-8601 timestamp of the response it came from; nothing is carried over from the epic text or from a previous run. Failure discipline (FR-003): any supervisor route answering other than HTTP 200 aborts the run with a message naming the route, exit code 1, and no ledger written. Verified against local servers answering 500 on /queen/status and 404 on /queen/public-board. Credential discipline (FR-004): no Authorization header is sent, no credential is printed, and the only environment variable consulted is TRIOS_SUPERVISOR_ORIGIN, gated by readEnv which refuses, structurally, any variable whose name contains KEY or TOKEN. Runs under Node >= 18 with no dependencies outside the Node standard library. The committed ledger is a production read: 3,133 characters, board counts done/review/backlog/running each timestamped, all seven blockers open.

Work the Queen accepted on , closed as gHashTag/trios#1334, and never merged.\n\nMeasured 2026-09-04: 174 branches on the remote and FIVE contained in . The other 169 all carry a real diff. A closed issue whose code is not in the branch is a false statement about the repository, and the loop had been making 169 of them.\n\nMerges cleanly against the current base, checked with before this PR was opened.
